Founded in 2009, The Montreal Review is an independent, nonpartisan online magazine of ideas. We publish short stories, poetry, non-fiction, book reviews and interviews on politics, society, the environment, and culture.

We welcome readers' letters, opinions and views. We would publish every intelligent, creative, honest, and tolerant point of view mailed to us.

We welcome submissions of short stories, poems, nonfiction articles on politics, society and economy, philosophical sketches, scholarly texts, travel notes, book and art reviews, and opinion on contemporary issues.

We do not have requirements about the genre, the style or the length of the submitted texts.

We accept for re-printing works published only in print.

Because of our limited financial resources, we are not able to pay for contributions. The authors retain all copyright after the appearance of their work in The Montreal Review. You may publish the same work anywhere in any form at any time.
