Church basements and spaces are now readily rented out as a means of revenue, for concerts, fundraisers, cultural events, secular weddings, and photo shoots; as well as being used by other community groups, such as Alcoholics Anonymous, Gamblers Anonymous, and children's organizations (Scouts/Girl Guides).
